Either way the name stuck, and the Mustang is part of the American sports car scene. The Mustang since it’s inception as enjoyed a dedicated and loyal fan base. The tenth generation, years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 is known for sophisticated styling and increased horsepower. This version of the Mustang restored the image of the car as a true muscle car. Finding parts for these particular models, like 2002 Mustang headlights, may not be difficult, however finding the best price may prove challenging. One of the known issues with this generation was related to the headlights. There were two distinct problem areas, one with the lights themselves, and two, the switches on a few cars were suspect to failure.
